Micah spoke with courage and boldness against the political and religious establishments of his day that protected their own interests but ignored the needs of the poor and the broken and hurting. He prophesies judgment and exile but also restoration and peace for the people of God, and for the whole world. We'll be asking what Micah has to say to our culture, our church life together and ourselves as individuals, and we'll be getting excited about the restoration he prophesies and how that played out in Jesus' life, ministry, death and resurrection, but also now through his church in the world.
