Prayer

Prayer is such a core part of relationship with God. In many ways it’s the backbone of our personal and communal life, but it’s also not easy to understand, and not easy to be ‘good’ at. In this series we want to explore some lessons from characters in scripture who engage with God in prayer from a huge range of life circumstances, theological perspectives and political environments; in moments of desperate loneliness and joyful community; prayers of silence and song; prayers that keep people up all night; prayers offered in faith and in doubt.
